Whenever you Cascade for the first time each turn, you may instead cast a card that that costs up to {1} mana more.

Quote is from Here. It isn't my cup of tea in terms of writing or story telling, but it had a nice quote I could borrow from for the purposes of the card.

So by making it cost MV7, it triggers Zhulodok, Void Gorger.

Basically what this means is, if you cast an Ulamog's Crusher, instead of being able to Cascade into something MV 7 or less, you could cast another MV 8, or even an MV 9 card such as Void Winnower.

The catch is that this only works on the first instance of Cascade each turn.

Colorless draw is difficult. Endless Atlas but I don't think it would help. I think it just comes with the territory. Other draw would be very costly and expensive CMC wise. Tower of Fortunes, maybe a Trading Post?

I usually prefer artifact ramp over dork ramp because they are slightly harder to remove. I wouldn't add helm of awakening, I believe Cloud Key or Semblance Anvil would be a better fit should you need it.

Side Note: Swap out like 7+ wastes for nonbasics to add utility in the mana base.

Desolation Twin - 2x 10/10's, eh it's something

Emrakul, the World Anew - Interesting. I actually want to add this to one of my creatureless decks, I'm unsure of how it would work here. All the more reason to focus on artifact > creature ramp should this be added. Definitely worth trying out.

It That Heralds the End - Anthem + Ramp, definitely worth a spot

Matter Reshaper - Card draw/value

Pathrazer of Ulamog/Ulamog's Crusher - Eh, annihilator is always nice

Thought-Knot Seer - Can target 2 different opponents for each section. Worth considering

I am building a Beamtown Bullies and I see too much people playng that deck with cards like Bane of Bala Ged, Breaker of Armies and Ulamog's Crusher... I don't understand why. Somebody know?

Oliphaunt or Troll of Khazad-dum could be a nice way to help fix your mana(probably alongside a single copy of the duals such as Geothermal Bog) but also you can go turn one: cycle into turn two:Exhume without needing to find faithless or study. Foil is also funny imo for reanimator strategies as you can pitch your big creature as the 2nd card. Finally, you may be purposefully avoiding him but Ulamog's Crusher is probably the best reanimation target in pauper and with its ability to destroy lands can lock opponents out of the game if you can get it in the first couple turns of the game.

Ulamog's Crusher might help you turn the corner vs big resource & tempo decks like Cascade and Ponza. You have to untap with both of the Eldrazi and I find Annialator > Trample.

How often do you cast Ulamog's Crusher? There's not much ramp here, so getting to 8 mana is a bit of work. I would cut it for another one of your Prototype creatures.

The Reclaim can also be used at the beginning of the game to grab Ash Barrens from your graveyard if you are short a land. What creature instead of Ulamog's Crusher, I like the prototype creatures! Ulamog's Crusher is a game winner when your opponent doesn't play or have a lot of permanents on the battlefield.

This looks like a lot of fun! Contingency Plan and Taigam's Scheming let you surveil 5 to dig deeper into your deck. Bog Witch can get you up to six mana faster while filling your graveyard. Since power is the main focus, rather than abilities, Ulamog's Crusher is the weakest option here. How much do the single Forest and Reclaim help?
