vic no. That's just the ability the card has. I can rename that. Sorry. I tried to used tapped out's custom card thing, but I'd didn't work, so I adapted it. It's just the commander's ability. The card I have set as the commander is a substitute until the Eldrazi Commander officially releases.

Formless0209 today there was a leak releasing information about the upcoming Eldrazi commander deck set to release in Modern Horizons 3. I have decided to get a jump on things and start building a deck in anticipation.

CelestialMaxis yeah definitely considering it. I've ordered about 38 alternate cards for the deck and they're all on their way. This is definitely one I'm strongly considering testing out. Currently trying to pair down on upkeep triggered cards in order to slot more interaction/response/removal type cards, but I'll make space for Leshrac. I'll probably drop Copy Enchantment. It was just "another" copy card. Not a strong card.

tetsuothecat you're correct. It's disgustingly good. All you need is one enchantment that gives you life at the upkeep, and hatred has the potential to be both a way to one-shot one opponent while then triggering enough lifegain to overcome it's downsides while also triggering everything else which if you pump in 30 life, to give Obeka 32 power, I would hope it would be enough upkeep triggers for your other triggered abilities to finish them off.

deathtrapXleed I'm still working on it. Technically I have a lightning greaves in the current build of the deck, but I have to remove other considerably more beneficial prices in order to make room. Haste is great, but shroud too early, would prevent me from targeting and buffing Obeka later. It's a fantastic equipment and is in every other one of my decks, but here it seemed clunky. Swiftfoot Boots would be a better pick even for the additional 1 for the equip cost, because it won't later hinder Obeka from getting pumped. 2 additional upkeeps each turn is fine, but it could be much much better. But you're absolutely right. Lightning Greaves is a fantastic card, and if I can find a way for it to function to my benefit rather than my hindereance, it will be included.
