Okay, so to make the challenge a bit easier

Make a legendary spell for any of these now-five Giant decks, although I would prefer a non-creature spell because we have some good synergy builds such as artifacts, lands and enchantments.

The second ability sounds redundant to the first, only until when you consider that A.) the first applies to legendary artifacts only and B.) the second applies regardless of boardstate. So if you got hit with a Shatterstorm or Creeping Corrosion, you'd still have that cost reduction on your first one.

But then they also work in tandem. If you only have 4 artifacts out, your Chimil, the Inner Sun can be cast for free, as an example.

Make a non-creature, legendary spell for any of these four Giant decks

I forgot to add "up to". If you only have 1 land left in your deck, by this wording it can not properly be fulfilled.

He was then slain by Samut and Gideon during Hour of Devastation.

For the artwork, I'd have the Devil lifting a card off the table to reveal it to you. It would be a black Swamp skull with the Mountain flames trailing around it and it would be glowing a deep purple and red.

It would also be a POV card, so you'd see the onlookers hands wrenching back in horror and fear from seeing what card was drawn.

Your challenge is a wildcard, BUT... as I just described my artwork, you have to describe yours. :)

Imagine you let him phase out, and then BAM BLOCKER OUT OF NOWHERE

Not exactly traditional blink, but I think for flavor I nailed it quite well for a monowhite dragon? It also allows you to take advantage of ETB effects. If you don't have cards worth playing or have a combo set up, you can purposefully let him phase out and just snap him back into reality to get those sweet sweet triggers. :)

I'm currently on vacation in NC and am about to go see the battleship down in Wilmington.

So make me a proper battleship. A legendary vehicle that is decked (hehehe) out with destructive capabilities.

For the benefits of print design, do a triggered ability and an activated ability, plus maybe 1 to 3 keyword abilities.

And then obviously Crew. That is not part of the list above.

I think you could get away with .

Suppose I take down a 6mv card. That's 6 life and 6 cards. The six cards is infinitely more valuable than six life. However we all tend to forget that EDH isn't the same as other metas. 6 life in Commander is nothing. 6 in Standard or Draft is detrimental. And the card is too slow to be in Modern, Vintage or Legacy.
