Edgardxcore Hey! Cool deck!

This is also a plan of mine to get going, once I have assembled my Abzan deck.

As king-saproling stated, Pitiless Plunderer would be a wonderful fit in here. Id consider cutting some of the following though:

Fist of Suns

Jodah, Archmage Eternal

Chromatic Lantern

Reason being; with Morophon's ability to reduce the colored pips in casting cost of your Eldrazi creatures, you will most likely want him on board as often as possible, as such, color fixing and alternate casting costs are not as vital to your strategy. Mycosynth Lattice is much higher in terms of cmc, but will also you to use your colorless mana in any way that you see fit!

You already have Lightning Greaves, so perhaps look into adding Swiftfoot Boots and Whispersilk Cloak as well, to offer more sources of protection. Neurok Stealthsuit is another good option, and gives you an instant speed equip option, should you need to move it around.

Another option to consider cutting would be Trophy Mage. As it is, you have 4 artifacts that it can fetch up out of your 13. Countering a creature is easy and will prevent your tutor for one of those pieces. A good option to substitute in would be Perplex. It offers you a tutor for a 3 drop, but is harder to prevent, as it is an activated ability, rather than an etb and can also be used as a counter should you need it.

I would also recommend substituting Dust Stalker and Nest Invader for some additional Devoid creatures that can bring in tokens upon entry to further your colorless ramp.

I run a mostly colorless deck, and find that Mystic Forge is a key piece in the deck. Some other good options for counters and removal are:

Void Shatter

Spell Shrivel

Complete Disregard

Serpentine Spike

Oblivion Strike

Smothering Abomination

That last one is just a personal favorite of mine, as its a great source of card draw when you sack your tokens for mana :) I hope some of this helps.

Mana Echoes can also be a great source of colorless ramp if you are willing to shell out the caps for said card.

ChooseWiselySon on Mill - Go for the lands

Daarkest, thanks for the feedback, yeah I feel Complete Disregard could be a good sideboard card for those kind of matchups, I will include it!

I am still unhappy with Ritual of Soot I will look for something else or buy something else when i can.

Thanks for everything!

mfogle, mill decks tend not to run Wight and Jace's Phantasm because it splits your strategy. Attacking vs. Milling, you pick one.

ChooseWiselySon, Go for the Throat seems like a good card also, I forgot it existed! When its good against decks, it's great. When its bad, board it out for something else. Maybe run non-conditional removal in the board to deal with artifacts. Wierd idea, but Complete Disregard deals with Etched Champion in the affinity matchup, which is when Go for the Throat is bad. It's all up to you though. Great deck!

After looking at the deck (left suggestions there) you could probably tune the deck to some prize support if the fnm meta is small enough (I have to pull myself away from some deck suggestion filled comments Complete Disregard came up as I'm typing this to fight phoenix and many of the recurring creatures in the top end of the format).

Now it could be extra fun to switch week to week between the pauper and budget-less versions of the deck, keep your meta guessing by using the same sleeves.

Blue-Black or Mono-Black, with some in Jeskai, Rakdos, Grixis, and Izzet

Really, blue has some reasonably good card draw, specifically Augur of Bolas, Mulldrifter, Preordain, Ponder, and interaction in the form of Counterspell and the occasional Deprive. Otherwise, they don't have a great set of wincons, sweepers, or removal, so they need another color to get those.

In comparison, black has Gurmag Angler, a great wincon, and the best removal in the forms of Evincar's Justice, Echoing Decay, Shrivel, Pestilence, Cuombajj Witches, Disfigure, Chainer's Edict, Oubliette, Doom Blade, they have lifegain, discard like Duress, Distress, Chittering Rats, card draw like Phyrexian Rager, Thorn of the Black Rose, Sign in Blood, and mono-colored payoffs like Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Tendrils of Corruption. There are even more great control cards from hate like Nihil Spellbomb, efficient spells like Cartouche of Ambition that just do a lot, land destruction like Choking Sands, more discard that is splashable like Addle, and the other following cards:

Diabolic Edict, Wrench Mind, Raven's Crime, Innocent Blood (for creatureless lists), Dead Weight, Crypt Incursion, Complete Disregard, Nausea, Reaping the Graves, Undying Evil, Read the Bones, Divest, Rancid Earth, Icequake, Dusk Legion Zealot, Okiba-Gang Shinobi, Tragic Slip, Crypt Rats, Stinkweed Imp

That isn't to say a good mix of both isn't the best option, it probably is. You lose the mono-black payoffs, but get Probe, Forbidden Alchemy, Soul Manipulation. Really though, black is more useful than blue.

Hey there! if you want some additional counter/removal something like Psychic Strike is a pretty decent budget card. Counters and mills at the same time. Supreme Will is a popular card running in standard, so obtaining one would be pretty easy. For on the spot removal, Path to Exile, Swords to Plowshares, or Complete Disregard would be right up your alley. Hope this helps!

I like it. I think I may have a few answers that you might consider. Complete Disregard is one I'm playing with. Also, Angel of Sanctions one of and 2 Kefnet the Mindful. Check it out!

I think I see where you're coming from. The reason that I went with a build like this was to create both redundancy and flexibility. Underhanded Designs is not overtly powerful, but the flexibility to play extra kill spells and extra Zulaport Cutthroat in the same card was appealing. Yahenni can likely go, as I should have plenty of sac' outlets between Hidden Stockpile and Syndicate Trafficker.

I have recently been playing the deck with Smothering Abomination in place of Herald of Anguish just due to cost, and it does ok. I definitely do not want to run too much fat on the top end though. An extra Herald and Abomination would just cost too much to leave up mana for Syndicate Trafficker or clues or Hidden Stockpile. Herald dodges Dynavolt Tower and Fatal Push and allows me to sac' spare Servo Schematics for value. Abomination is super sweet when it goes off though.

As for Grasp of Darkness, I have been going back and forth between it, Complete Disregard, and Stasis Snare. Complete Disregard hits a surprising amount of decks. All of B/G, most of Mardu vehicles (notably turns off Scrapheap Scrounger forever) and turns off Saheeli combo. Stasis Snare is the same, but can hit a creature-Gideon as well as gearhulks. Grasp of Darkness is cheaper though, which is a big deal. The deck definitely has a lot of tinkering left though, for sure. Thanks for your input!
