I am wondering, has anyone here ever eaten a full sized cucumber without cutting it up? If so, was the process accompanied a dip of some sort or other form of seasoning?

Yes. No other seasonings. Had too many cucumbers in the garden and was in a hurry.

No but I wouldn’t be opposed to it. My dip/seasoning would be A1 Steak Sauce or Tajin, a Mexican spice blend that’s absolutely fantastic and you all must try

Just had another. This time with a ranch/salsa verde mix. Too many cucumbers. We are drowning in cucumbers

Not I. My grandpa was known to eat onions and tomatoes like apples though. That feels like the same vibes.

Cucumbers are great, I usually don't dip them in anything though. But my dad dips them in salt and pepper.

cucumbers, although quite excellent, are not on my top-ten Things I'd Like To Eat Without Cutting First list

I've eaten 2 Visage of Bolas once, I needed to tear them up first though.

No, I've heard the ends of cucs are poisonous. Perhaps it's just a pickling thing... idk.

Speaking of pickles and cucs, I like to chop one up, put the slices on a plate with vinegar. Then let them sit for awhile before snacking on them with a little salt and pepper. Delish.

Have you tried your hand at canning GhostChieftain? Great way to use excess veggies aside from selling of course. You can also sell/gift/donate canned goods too.

Haven't done salsa yet myself, but the sweet chili sauce I made was great. Never thought I'd do a thing like canning (or talking about it here XD) but it was rather enjoyable. My next goal is figuring out how to make and can homemade spagetti sauce (if possible).

No but I'm going to go do it next chance I get. Planning on using lawlreys seasoned salt.

The taste got overshadowed by the flavors of ink and paper. I would not recommend eating magic cards to anyone.

:( darn you said that as I had my Polluted Delta halfway to my mouth. Are you sure it won't taste good?

TypicalTimmy No real reason other than interest. I had never considered it as a possibility before, but I was trying to consider low-effort healthy snack foods and cucumbers came to mind. I’m super lazy so I don’t want rinds or cores to clean up lol.

I do like the idea of cutting the cucumber in half and just doing a dry rub/dip. Simple and delicious.

Something to consider.
