When I saw Chishiro, the Shattered Blade, the wheels started turning right away. I think the more popular route to build him is with a focus on +1/+1 counters, but I didn't want to go that way. I immediately thought about enchantress, card draw, and making an army of hard-to-block tokens. So, I made Gruul Enchantress.

The focus of this deck is going to be making tokens by casting auras and gaining card advantage by drawing cards from enchantress triggers. The deck is loaded with low CMC enchantments, with several of them being able to bounce for multiple uses. The tokens start out small, but Chishiro will get them bigger with each passing turn, making a small army into a big one.

Getting an aura I can bounce early on is the ideal scenario. I want cards like Crown of Flames, Whip Silk, Broken Fall, and Molting Skin into play early to abuse the ability to return them to my hand. Mark of Fury will return to my hand on its own at end of turn. Rancor and Fiery Mantle recur themselves from the graveyard.

Since Chishiro's ability is an ETB and not a cast trigger, Toggo, Goblin Weaponsmith seems good to me, and I look forward to seeing how he performs. Familiar Ground has great synergy with the menace tokens.

A nice piece synergy involves Calming Verse + Smoke Spirits' Aid . Throw the enchantments on opposing creatures, and next turn cast the Verse to ramp and do damage to the opponents.
