Hey y'all - you'll see a few different iterations of this deck in my folder. This is my favorite EDH deck, the idea is to get out fun creatures, copy them into tokens, and then populate or otherwise replicate those tokens for all kinds of shenannigans. This is the EDH deck I've had the longest, since it was first built in 2016 and helemed by Roon of the Hidden Realm in 2016. Roon was mostly a placeholder in the colors I wanted, but fit with some of the ETB creatures I sought to copy as tokens. Then came Sakashima of a Thousand Faces and the deck was able to find some more consistency. Sidar is along for the colors. Blue is for copying creatures into tokens, green is for token support and strong creatures, white is there for populate and creature based removal.

This deck has gone through a lot of changes, and is built to match the medium to high power level decks my friends play with. We try to keep things fun, so no infinite combos, no one's deck is built to win turn 3 or 4. The best part about this deck is the variety! Between copying your own value creatures and sometimes your opponent's, it's easy to answer a variety of threats on the board, always play a different game, and have a resilient board state.

The goal of the deck used to be just to make clone tokens to populate, but then Sakashima of a Thousand Faces came around and I could FINALLY replace Roon with a more relevant commander. This also opened up a whole new strat for the deck - copying and multiplying legendary creatures for powerful effects. Elesh Norn is truly disgusting in this deck, as is Koma, and a lot of other creatures. (Both may need to come out because they have felt maybe too strong). Having pieces like eternal witness and snapcaster mage and access to copies, and copies of copies, makes the deck very resiliant, though occasionally weak to spot removal. I have never really made a primer before, but I'd like to if people are interested! This deck is a lot of fun to pilot, especially if you like copying things, token shenanigans, or making sure your gameplay has a lot of variety!
