Ruric Thar, the Unbowed likes creatures that's why there are 53 of them in this deck! No panzy ass creatures with convoluted abilities but creatures that want to ATTACK! So we are attacking for RAMP Professional Face-Breaker, CARD DRAW Toski, Bearer of Secrets and EXTRA COMBAT STEPS Moraug, Fury of Akoum to attack for more ramp and card draw.

We are ramping at expense of our opponents life totals. We are unsurprisingly winning the old fashioned way; COMBAT DAMAGE. So lets shutdown our opponents cowardly ramp strategies and overly complicated wincons using Collector Ouphe!

Do people ever cast creatures on other players turn? No! Sorcery speed is where its at! Ruric Thar, the Unbowed dont do blue and he hates artifacts and if we cant have a toy nobody else can sais Dosan the Falling Leaf. Uh yes green offers flash enablers but we are already running HASTE and TRAMPLE enablers because we want to BEAT FACE ASAP. What about counterspells or a nifty little Brainstorm "on your endstep"?! Our creatures are chads like Neheb, the Eternal; Loyal lieutenants that will lend aid in returning their commander from the commandzone to the battlefield. Our opponents creatures are pocket protector wearing, weak-kneed wimps, especially if we make them fight our chads using Ulvenwald Tracker!

We win by taking down our opponents life total combat step by combat step! Which can be surprisingly fast with Shaman of Forgotten Ways his formidable ability or pumping something or other with Xenagos, God of Revels. All we have to do is ATTACK with EVERY VIABLE CREATURE, which most want to do already who are in this deck.

Some spells are worth paying 6 life over, these are Growing Rites of Itlimoc  , Lurking Predators, The Great Henge, Deflecting Swat, Red Elemental Blast and Pyroblast.

Sideboard customization

If there are no blue players in the pod Pyroblast and Red Elemental Blast are two dead cards in the deck and can be exchanged for more useful spells in the sideboard.

Take out all non permanents and run Primal Surge to put entire deck on the battlefield on resolving Primal Surge.
