Marchesa MLD

Commander / EDH*

Dr4c0

Queen Marchesa (Mana Denial) (Current list is Owned, not Optimized)
What makes it better than Zur Stax, Daretti Stax, Atraxa Stax, or Brago Stax? Queen Marchesa first of all has all the major colors of Stax spells, black, white and red. That's Armageddon, Devastation, and Mass Creature Removal/Tutors for those of you wondering. Next up, while she has access to all of the best spells, one common that thing occurs when stax wins quickly is that it stalls, Queen Marchesa actually fixes this problem after you have destroyed your opponent's ability to cast spells due a lack of mana you simply tap your artifact mana and cast her, and draw more spells and keep the pain going. Having Red as a color is really important because some of the most important spells in the mana denial strategy aren't white or black they're RED such as Devastation, Devasting Dreams, and Destructive Force. They're important to Mana Denial because they get rid of lands and creatures as the same time. One last thing to note is that Marchesa does make tokens too which can be useful, she is also low costed which makes her easy to cast at most times during a game. She can also be cast very early to try and get ahead of opponents early in the game as well.
