Lowered Average CMC —June 15, 2021
Since this update, I have cut down the average CMC from 3.97 to 3.23. (3.19 if you count Fierce Guardianship as 0 CMC) While I do enjoy cards such as Grave Betrayal and Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker, I decided to cut a lot of the expensive cards, as they tend to delay me from playing land wipes by at least a turn if not longer. Plus, there are much cheaper alternatives to help maintain card advantage after a land wipe, {I.e. cards that force my opponents to discard}.
