The idea of this deck is to drain the life out of your opponents. Get Kalastria Healer on the battlefield, then cast allies to gain life and drain life each turn. Use Captain's Claws to help bring out more allies consistently. Drana's Emissary will drain each turn by itself and will trigger Kalastria Healer. Cliffhaven Vampire can turn my life gain into drain on them, and considering most of the life gain in this deck has drain, that adds value, and makes Lantern Scout give me multiple gains per turn and multiple drains. Zulaport Cutthroat is there to drain life when creatures die, and there should be a good number that die, especially with the tokens from Captain's Claws being 1/1. Serene Steward gives me the option to pump up creatures each turn in case the game goes longer than intended.

Any suggestions, especially for side deck and for card amounts is appreciated.
