Sorcery

I'd recommend cutting: - Hard Evidence - Hordeling Outburst - Stolen by the Fae - Octavia, Living Thesis - Niv-Mizzet, Parun - Izzet Chronarch - Izzet Chemister - Spellburst - Occult Epiphany - Prismatic Lens - Rogue's Passage

I'd recommend: - Mind Stone (This would probably be more flexible than Prismatic Lens) - Lorien Revealed - Mystic Sanctuary - Sokenzan, Crucible of Defiance - Skittering Invasion - Underworld Breach - Transcendent Message - Archmage Emeritus - Loyal Apprentice - Baral, Chief of Compliance (Potentially just doing a straight swap of this with Goblin Electromancer} - Storm-Kiln Artist - March of Swirling Mist - Crackle with Power (AWESOME win-con) - Apex of Power - Surge to Victory (This is hilarious) - Rise from the Tides - Mnemonic Deluge - Wayfarer's Bauble

You can TARGET Mnemonic Deluge with the copied Reverberates since you are correct that you cast Reverberate during the resolution of Mnemonic Deluge and you need to choose a target when the spell is cast. However; the Reverberates don't RESOLVE during the resolution of Mnemonic Deluge. When a spell resolves targets are checked and the spell will do nothing if the targets are no longer valid. Mnemonic Deluge will have exiled itself and no longer be a spell on the stack when Reverberate resolves and Reverberate will fizzle.

Lots of cards have extremely strong interactions, so that is no reason to doubt that something works. In this case it worked out that your instinct was right, but that may not always be the case.

Let's say I have Reverberate in the graveyard. I cast Mnemonic Deluge, targeting reverberate, thus exiling reverberate. I copy Reverberate 3 times and cast all of them, but as I cast them, is Mnemonic Deluge still a valid target?

I would say yes, since reverberate's target must be chosen as soon as it is cast, and as far as I know, Mnemonic Deluge is not finished resolving before I've cast or decided not to cast the 3 copies of the spell chosen. Additionally, I get to choose new targets for each of the three mnemonic deluge (reverberate no longer a valid target).

I would say no, as this makes for bonkers interaction and it seems.....questionable, hence my question :)

Bro if u play with Worldfire, I think u should also play with Obliterate and Decree of Annihilation. I win a lot just bc of these 2.

U can see my deck Thicc Jhoira.

You could be playing with extra turn cards, they are extremely decent. Also with some other bombs like Mnemonic Deluge and goodies like Wild-Magic Sorcerer and Narset, Parter of Veils.

And if u care about which cards I would take out, Thought Reflection and Magmatic Force would be my suggestion.

Hey man, I haven't been on TO in ages so I apologise for the huge delay in messaging back!

In regards to omens, it was simply a budget choice.

The list is mostly the same. I've added Geode Rager and Valakut Exploration which have been pretty fun, as well as Mnemonic Deluge for huge splashy plays!

There are two big changes I'm playing around with atm - changing the commander to Krark and Kydele for SS, and or Togoo and Kydele for token shenanigans. I played with krark last night and blew out the table pretty quickly... I did get lucky with consistent successful coin flips... but essentially, I played / copiedBrass's Bounty like 10+ times in one turn, and then drew my deck.. which is an issue because,

My play group has been depowering lately, and so I hardly get to play the deck anymore. I thought krark would just make things less consistent, both in terms of coin flipping, as well as removing the draw engine that makes Omanth so consistent, but turns out that may not be the case :P. I was toying around with just ele / land tribal, but I thought a toggo / kydele (Thrasois would be more synergistic, but he's also expensive lol) would be more fun, as I can essentially make it a brudiclad secret commander deck and hope it's enough to be more playable in lower power levels. I think I've worked out a list where I can change about 15 or so cards and shift between tokens and SS, but we'll see.

How's your deck coming? Any evolutions, or spicy new Inclusions?

Awesome deck! I really like spellslinger decks, and playing this seems really fun.

However, considering how many instants and sorceries you have and the wheel theme, i'm surprised you don't have any graveyard recursion or synergy.

some cards that you could consider are: Bond of Insight, Call to Mind, Flood of Recollection, Mystic Retrieval, Pull from the Deep, Relearn, Shreds of Sanity, Backdraft Hellkite, Past in Flames, Volcanic Vision and The Mirari Conjecture

some of those exile themselves and since you have so much draw power that might actually be a downside. If i were to cut something for those I would maybe one of those shuffle effects.

here's some cards that cast instants or sorceries from your or other people's graveyards: Finale of Promise, Diluvian Primordial, Mnemonic Deluge, Mizzix's Mastery and Spelltwine.

mnemonic deluge and diluvian primordial are pretty funny, though kinda expensive. Imagine casting a wheel and then "going shopping" for spells, i highly recommend it. though these exile, so if you loop your deck you can't cast the spell you coped again.

if you want to bounce creatures with niv-mizzet, you could consider Arm with AEther or Sigil of Sleep.

some more spellcasting synergy: Firebrand Archer, Saheeli, Sublime Artificer.

i don't know how often you would be able to kill or do something significant with Spiraling Embers, but i thought it would be a fun inclusion.

here's a few cards for copying instants and sorceries:

Bonus Round, Insidious Will, Reverberate, Thousand-Year Storm, Swarm Intelligence and Twincast. twincast, reverberate and insidious will double as interaction, and you could also consider Narset's Reversal

and a few more card draw inclusions: Laquatus's Creativity and Sea Gate Restoration  Flip.

sorry for the wall of text, just got excited about brewing so i wanted to suggest a bunch of cards. I hope that this at least gave you some ideas.

Hey lil_cheez, thanks so much for your suggestion :)

Plague Wind is a sweet card in this deck and definitely better than Hex. Unfortunately I did set a 2$ budget per card when making this deck - With the exceptions of Dimir Signet, Reliquary Tower, and the commander. A few cards also rose in price just after adding them to the deck draft.. I did not write this anywhere, so I don't know how I was expecting anyone to guess this budget limit, but I've now added this information to the description.

I haven't physically gathered this deck yet, but if it shows that the deck is under-performing in my playground, I will definitely have to look at cards in a tad higher price range. In that case I will strongly consider Plague Wind. Another card I'd also really want to play with is Mnemonic Deluge, which looks super good in this kind of deck. But at this time, it is also just above the budget point.

Thanks again for a great suggestion!
