Lightform

Enchantment

When Lightform enters the battlefield, it becomes an Aura with enchant creature. Manifest the top card of your library and attach Lightform to it. (To manifest a card, put it onto the battlefield face down as a 2/2 creature. Turn it face up at any time for its mana cost if it's a creature card.)

Enchanted creature has flying and lifelink.

Something strange does happen and you won't get to keep the Lightform token.

The first step of Lightform's ETB triggered ability just changes its subtypes, not its types, so it will become an "Enchantment Creature - Aura". It won't be a Zombie anymore because the ability doesn't say it becomes an Aura "in addition to its other types", so this might matter if you have other effects that care about Zombies. As you continue resolving the ability, you manifest the top card of your library but then you aren't able to attach Lightform to the manifested creature because creatures can't be attached to other things. When the ability is finished resolving, the game will see an Aura on the battlefield that isn't attached to anything and will put it into the graveyard. The Lightform token will then cease to exist.

What happens when Anikthea, Hand of Erebos ETBs or attacks and I bring Lightform back as a token? Does Lightform stop being a 3/3 zombie and completely change into an Aura when it etbs? Or is it somehow both? Kind of a strange interaction I'm not clear on.

I think Cloudform and Lightform are probably too slow. Spirited Companion and Skyclave Apparition seem to fit those slots better. Some other considerations for this style of deck are Lae'zel's Acrobatics, Farewell, Solitude, Recruiter of the Guard, Thassa, Deep-Dwelling, Soulherder, Preston, the Vanisher, Ephemerate, and Conjurer's Closet.

Strionic Resonator is like a 2 mana version of lithoform. It can be tutored with Tribute Mage and Enlightened Tutor and is the best Brago wincon in my opinion (along with Lithoform). I also like running some cheap cards that draw on ETB to flicker with Brago like Confounding Conundrum and Omen of the Sea . Act of Authority has been a top-notch removal spell for me. I find that his biggest weakness is getting through flying blockers. Usually, someone has no flyers out at the table, but if you play one-on-one, I'd add some evasion. Traveler's Cloak and Unquestioned Authority give evasion and a card when flickered. I don't see this in a lot of lists, but I love Scroll of Fate . You can manifest any permanent from your hand, then flicker it and it returns to play face up. Cloudform and Lightform do this too, but off the top of your deck instead. Here is my list: https://www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/3871820#paper

I like Cloudform since it could protect the commander and cheat out cards as well! That will have to find a slot. Lightform may need some more thought as to what it would replace since the lifelink is not super helpful. Thanks for the thoughts!

Cloudform & Lightform work similar to Scroll of Fate.

True. I've also played Brago, and that's what I end up doing a lot. But Scroll of Fate also plays out your entire deck if you just have a single etb draw effect during the strionic resonator combo. While it doesn't generate card advantage like Lightform does, it manifests twice as many cards per turn and lets you choose what to manifest. At worst, it functions like a powerful mana rock, but at its best, its a combo piece.
