DaWubber on Can we play that commander? …

Can we have Olivia Voldaren Olivia, Mobilized for War and Olivia, Crimson Bride.

Mom: Sweety, we have all three Olivia at home.

Olivia at home: Drana, Kalastria Bloodchief Drana, Liberator of Malakir and Drana, the Last Bloodchief.

For real though, it feels like every version of a Drana we got was followed soon by a version of Olivia that does a similar thing. The first Drana and Olivia leverage excess Mana as removal that doubles as a bump in power. The second versions are aggro strategies, and the third (and currently final versions) are reanimator cards. I play the first Drana, and am kinda annoyed att how similar they always seem to me.

Phyrexian Tower will pair well with Phyrexian Reclamation for recursion. Skullclamp and Read the Bones are amazing card draw and part of the pre-con's original 99. Visions of Phyrexia comes out 18 Nov and looks awesome.

coinfliplarry Olivia is not meant to be blitzed in, her haste makes it so she immediately affects the board without the use of blitz. Olivia does exile the creature that you bring back if and when she dies, and theres a good chance she will die because if she's not taken care of the creatures shes bringing back will certainly overwhelm our opponents with value and combat damage. When Olivia brings back creatures if those creatures die due to anything other then Olivia's clause they don't get exiled. For instance I'll swing with Olivia and bring back a Woodfall Primus, now you have a new body for your Ghoulcaller Gisa, Birthing Pod, Industrial Advancement, or one of my favorites Bramble Sovereign. So you can get the extra value from the creature and it will go right back to your yard if sac'd or in this case back to the battlefield due to the persist on woodfall. Then the next turn the creature is usually sitting back in your yard waiting for Olivia to attack again. If you don't have a sac outlet for additional value you can just start bring back fatties for beats and while a kill spell on Olivia will obviously stop the pain train, thats the case for all non etb cards. Her haste pretty much ensures that you should usually be able to get at least one attack trigger in. My playgroup has learned the hard way that Olivia is a kill on sight creature in the mid to late game. Bringing back creatures for free every turn that are already attacking is an effect that should not be overlooked especially in a deck whose graveyard is usually filled with beaters, I would suggest the next time you play with the deck think to yourself what if I draw Olivia, and the different possibilities it brings. Drana, the Last Bloodchief is also a legendary vampire in your deck so that would help keep Olivia's clause going if they both happen to b on the field at the same time, even if this is rare.

Both tribes of clerics and zombies excel at reanimation and you may as well play into it, with that in mind consider the following, Bishop of Rebirth, Custodi Soulcaller, Drana, the Last Bloodchief, Mikaeus, the Unhallowed, Orah, Skyclave Hierophant, Order of Whiteclay, Whisper, Blood Liturgist and Draugr Necromancer although you would need to add snow lands for that.

Useful in tribe creatures: Custodi Lich, Evangel of Heliod, Taborax, Hope's Demise and Custodi Soulbinders. This is hardly a comprehensive list but just a few ideas.

Oh I just remembered, if you wanted an effect similar to Underworld Sentinel but works better with your Modified subtheme, you should check out Drana, the Last Bloodchief.

Oh yeah and if you find yourself needing additional cards to cut I'd start with Bloodvial Purveyor (if your opponent keeps cracking the blood tokens it gives them free looting effects while keeping Purveyor a 5/6... then imagine playing this against a saga deck) and Drana, the Last Bloodchief.

The more sources of ramp, card draw, and removal you have, the more competitive your deck will be. I would stretch for 13ish sources of solid card draw--such as the likes of Jeska's Will, Cathartic Reunion, and Sign in Blood--a similar amount of cheap ramp (just more of what you've already got going on, like Thought Vessel and Millikin), and 10ish efficient removal effects like Abrade, Deadly Rollick, Terminate, and Force of Despair.

Also, remember that each time you reanimate a sub-par creature, you're missing out on spending that trigger on a game-ender; try and make it so all your huge reanimation targets do lots of work and immediately have an impact. It's also worth noting that Olivia returns the creature to play already attacking, so if it has an attack trigger (like Drana, the Last Bloodchief or Master of Cruelties) that effect actually won't happen.

Like what you're doing here overall, though--keep it up! :3
