Do Any Japanese RPG's Have Quest Logs?

I have played RPG's from both Japan and America, and one trait from the American games that I really appreciated was a quest log, so that the player can always check what quests they currently have active and their progress on those quests, but none of the Japanese games that I have played have had such a feature. However, all of the RPG's that I have played, both American and Japanese, are old, so, perhaps, newer Japanese RPG's have quest logs.

What does everyone else say about this? Do any Japanese RPG's have quest logs?

It's not exactly a jrpg, but the game "Tomba!" (and it's sequel) for the ps1 is the earliest game I can remember having a 'quest log'..
