Will Closing Statement trigger Ink-Treader Nephilim ability if I target it for the +1/+1 counter

Would this be a kinda board wipe and buff combo? Like would I be able to keep destroying my opponents creatures and planeswalkers so long as I have other creatures I can target for the +1/+1 counters???

No, this won't work. Ink-Treader Nephilim's ability specifically triggers "if Ink-Treader Nephilim is the only target of that spell". In your example, Closing Statement has 2 targets: The creature/planeswalker you don't control and Ink-Treader Nephilim. The Nephilim's ability won't trigger.
