Anointed Procession/Parallel Lives vs Dauthi Voidwalker/Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet.

Asked by Chaospyke 2 years ago

Why is that replacement effects such as Anointed Procession and Parallel Lives stack on each other but Dauthi Voidwalker and Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet must be chosen which effect to apply and don't stack.

It's because Anointed Procession and Parallel Lives each result in an event that the other can still apply to (the creation of tokens), but Dauthi Voidwalker and Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet result in an event where there's nothing for the other to apply to (the card isn't going to the graveyard anymore).
