Importing CSV from Manabox?

TappedOut forum

Hi there!

Has anyone found a way to import a manabox collection to tappedout? I'd like to use the deck suggestion based on collection features, but long story short most of my cards are scanned into manabox at the moment and tappedout does not recognize the exported csv.

Thanks for checkin

Sure we'll add a manabox source to our csv import, I'll let you know when it's up.

We added Manabox as a source for CSV import. Promo cards are the biggest issue so let me know if you are experiencing many errors or any problem and I'll take a look.

Hi! Sorry to dig up - I'm having some trouble importing from Manabox. For one thing, it looks like Manabox leaves alternate lines between entries, which creates a long list of errors - which is fine, it seems like they can be ignored.

There's a critical error when I try to import though: Fileobj: This field is required. It won't save my CSV even if I check skip errors, I believe because of this one. It seems like it's a required field that Manabox doesn't have? Is there anything to do to fix it?

gtspark I send you a message but in case you didn't get it, can you contact support and explain your issue? We'll ask you for the csv so I can take a look and make sure we address this faulty lines. Thanks!

Apologies for kicking up dust in this older post. I have all my collections stored in Manabox and was excited to finally find a site that supports their export format. My current issue with the importing here is "Invalid CSV. Can't find the Language value" for each line in the csv. I'm not entirely sure what the error means and haven't been able to sleuth it out on my own. If there is any insight on this, I would greatly appreciate it, as I'm excited to use this platform for deck constructions etc. Thank you for your time in advance!

ComfyChrist can you post the header row of your CSV? Manabox gives different columns depending on how your collection if organized. I can help you find the right source for yours or set up a custom import as well.

Apologies for the delay. I've just today taken some time to really look at the CSV's. I also did get an support email as well but I believe I replied with a CSV that had the header removed.

My CSV headers from Manabox are as follows:

|Name|Set Code|Set Name|Collector Number|Foil|Rarity|Quantity|ManaBox ID|Scryfall ID|Purchase Price|Misprint|Altered|Condition|Language|Purchase Price Currency|

The Language column is filled with "en" for English and I'm assume that isn't correctly formatted for yall's imports? What should that be instead of "en"?

ComfyChrist Have you tried both Manabox and Manabox (Collections) as sources? I believe the first one should work.

I did at the time, yeah.

I'll give it another go here with a fresh export and see what happens!
