First EDH deck (Marath), need some advice.

Hi peeps,
I am currently building my first real EDH deck: Marath Commander. Since it is my first EDH deck, i would love to get some advice on building it, and how to make it stronger in the future with a limited budget.

Since you need 6 cuts, let me take a stab at some...
Spawning Grounds is never gonna go off, and if it ever does you're gonna get 2-for-1'd.
Cut Center Soul for Emerge Unscathed (strictly better).
Pillar of Light should get swapped for a Swords to Plowshares or Path to Exile if you've got one.
Haunted Plate Mail is pretty bad-- maybe swap it for something like Grafted Exoskeleton or put in a man-land instead. Stirring Wildwood?
Profound Journey and Restock are too expensive. Maybe an Eternal Witness or Sun Titan instead?
Harmonize isn't a bad draw, but you might want something repeatable. Sylvan Library is the expensive choice and Ohran Viper is the cheap one.
